Digital Gift Cards
To send a Charlestown Square Digital Gift Card instantly to the inbox of your recipient, simply click the Buy Now button above and follow the below steps:
- Step 1: Input the recipient’s details.
- Step 2: Nominate a time to schedule the gift card or send it instantly.
- Step 3: Your Charlestown Square Digital Gift Card Gift Card will be sent via email or SMS and stored in the recipients digital wallet.
Please note that a $2.95 activation fee applies upon issue of each Charlestown Square Digital Gift Card.

For only $5, you can add a custom premium print, congratulating the recipient with a heart-warming personal message. Please note that a $2.68+GST administration fee applies upon issue of each Charlestown Square Gift Card using card payment.
Note: Cash payment are not accepted and premium print on demand gift cards are not available via online purchase method.
Yes! You can enter a personal message to your digital or printed gift card to give it that extra special touch.
- Upon receiving a Digital Charlestown Square Gift Card you will receive an SMS notification.
- Click on the link within the SMS and accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Once you have accepted the Terms & Conditions you will be taken directly to view your Digital Gift Card.
- Add your Gift Card to your Apple Wallet by clicking the ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ button.
- You will then receive a verification code – once verified you are ready to use your Gift Card!
- Simply take your Charlestown Square Digital Gift Card to any Charlestown Square store where Digital Wallet payment is accepted. 
- Take your Charlestown Square Gift Card to any Charlestown Square store where EFTPOS is available.
- Simply swipe the Charlestown Square Gift Card, select ‘Savings’ on the EFTPOS terminal.
- Enter the PIN number on the back of the Gift Card and press OK.
- Charlestown Square Gift Cards that were issued prior to 31 March 2018 are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- Charlestown Square Gift Cards issued from 31 March 2018 onwards are valid for 36 months from the date of issue.
- Check your Charlestown Square Gift Card balance and transaction history by calling 1300 764 721 or visiting waivpay.com and clicking on check balance.
- Any Charlestown Square Gift Card that is damaged or faulty at time of issue will be replaced at no extra cost. Please visit the Charlestown Square Customer Service Desk or call 1300 764 721 for assistance.
Please be aware of the Charlestown Square Gift Card’s remaining balance before making a purchase - if the total cost of items purchased is greater than the balance of the card, you will be required to make up the difference with another payment method.

- The Charlestown Square Gift Card should be treated like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed.
- The Charlestown Square Gift Card is redeemable for merchandise or services at all Charlestown Square stores, where EFTPOS is available.
- The Charlestown Square Gift Card may be purchased in various denominations from $10 to $1,000 in store or $5 to $250 online.
- Administration Fees; From 1 December 2022 a $2.68+GST fee applies upon the issuance of each Charlestown Square Gift Card using card payments. A $5 fee applies upon the issuance of each Charlestown Square Gift Card using cash payment*. A $5 administration fee applies upon the issuance of each premium; print on demand gifts cards* (Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas etc). Note: Cash payment and Premium Print on demand gift cards are not available via online purchase method.
- The Charlestown Square Gift Card is not redeemable for cash and cannot be used for the payment of credit or retailer accounts, nor used at ATM’s to withdraw cash.
- Individual Charlestown Square retailers are not required to accept the Charlestown Square Gift Card for any purchase under the value of $10.
- Charlestown Square Gift Cards that were issued prior to 31 March 2018 are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and must be redeemed before the date of expiry.
Charlestown Square Gift Cards issued from 31 March 2018 onwards are valid for 36 months from the date of issue, and must be redeemed before the date of expiry. - The Charlestown Square Gift Card will be void and cannot be redeemed after the date of expiry. Once expired, the Charlestown Square Gift Card cannot be reloaded.
- The Charlestown Square Gift Card is partially redeemable. It is up to the cardholder to use the full value before the date of expiry. Cash change will not be given for any unused balance.
- Any unused balance on expiry of the Charlestown Square Gift Card will not be refunded or credited.
- Where the cost of any purchase exceeds the available card balance, the cardholder will be required to make up the difference with another payment method.
- The cardholder is liable for all transactions on the gift card, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by Charlestown Square, The GPT Group or any of our employees.
- You can check your card balance at any time by calling 1300 764 721 or visiting waivpay.com and clicking on balance check.
- Charlestown Square and The GPT Group reserves the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms of Use at any time. Changes to the Terms of Use will be available on the Charlestown Square website, or at the Customer Service Desk.
