

Nutella Pastry Puffs
Brighten up mum’s day with these quick, easy and super tasty Nutella Pastry Puffs.
Makes 9:
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp Nutella
- 300ml cream
- 2 tbsp icing sugar (for cream)
- 4 strawberries, finely sliced
- 1 tsp icing sugar for sprinkling
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
- Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut through the pastry
- Line a baking tray with baking paper and place each heart evenly spaced
- Whisk the egg and lightly brush each heart with egg
- Place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until hearts are puffed up and golden
- Meanwhile, whisk together the cream and icing sugar. Place in a piping bag
- Place the Nutella in a piping bag
- Remove the puffs from the oven and cut each one in half carefully with a bread knife
- Assemble the bottom of each puff with Nutella, 3 slices of strawberries and whipped cream. Place the heat puff on top to “close”. Repeat with remaining hearts
- Serve with sprinkled icing sugar on top
